What you should check to choose your high quality Padel Court
When investing in a padel facility, the quality of the court defines not only the playing experience but also the long-term profitability of the project. At Padel Magic, based in Valladolid, Spain, we specialize in the manufacturing of premium padel courts for international clubs and sports complexes. With more than 400 courts built every year, we know the difference between a truly professional padel court and one made with low-cost materials.
Structure and Steel Treatment of the Padel court
The foundation of a reliable padel court is its metal structure. In high-quality courts, every element can be fully galvanized to prevent corrosion—an essential feature for outdoor courts, especially those installed in saline environments near the sea.
At first glance, all courts may appear to be of similar quality, but within just a few months, poorly designed, non-galvanized structures begin to show signs of rust. This not only affects their appearance but significantly reduces their durability and lifespan. Low-quality courts often skip or reduce the galvanization process to cut costs, leading to rust, weakened frames, and expensive maintenance after only a few seasons.
Paint and Screws
A premium court is coated with powder-paint of superior thickness and durability, ensuring resistance to UV rays and weather. By contrast, inferior painting cracks and fades quickly, creating both aesthetic and structural issues. Even the screws and fixings make a difference: stainless-steel or high-grade treated bolts guarantee safety and endurance, whereas cheap fastenings deteriorate fast.
We are the only manufacturers able to provide a genuine anti-corrosion certificate issued directly by the paint factory, covering classifications from C3 up to C5H. This is possible because we professionally lacquer all our courts in an industrial oven, not using an in-house line.
Glass Panels
The glass is another decisive factor. A professional padel court uses tempered safety glass of 10–12 mm, using 10mm for the ECO Marcos Padel Court, and 12mm for the Panorama and Top Professional courts precisely installed for a perfect rebound and long life. Low-end projects often reduce the glass thickness or use panels with poor tensioning, which compromises both ball bounce and player safety.
Padel Court Turf: Rizo vs. Monofilament
At PadelMagic, we work exclusively with high-performance turf. Two premium options stand out:
- Curly artificial grass: designed for professional and stable ball bounce, perfect for intensive club use. We work with ACT Brand.
- Monofilament turf: preferred for faster play and elite training, offering a consistent ball trajectory and professional feel.
Inferior suppliers cut corners by using low-density grass carpets, resulting in irregular ball bounce, poor grip, and short lifespan.
Net, Lighting and Poles
A quality padel court is not complete without professional nets, light posts, and LED projectors. Strong posts, precise tension, and adequate lighting systems allow players to perform at their best. Cheap solutions compromise visibility, increase energy costs, and create frustration for both amateurs and professionals.
The PadelMagic Standard
Choosing PadelMagic means investing in Spanish know-how, certified materials, and meticulous manufacturing. For clubs that want to attract and retain players, the difference between a high-quality court and a low-quality one is the difference between success and failure.
